PHOTOS: Arsenal Fans Blood Donation Drive In Ggaba Sales out, Mayor Lukwago Mesmerized

Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago today graced the occasion of Arsenal Africa Fans Festival 2023 at Ggaba Landing Site, Kampala.

This festival, the first of it’s kind in Africa has attracted delegation of Arsenal fans from Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda,UK and South Sudan amongst others.

The fans at the festival engaged in various activities including a Charity Medical Camp, Clean up exercise and Tourism related activities at Ggaba landing site.

The Lord Mayor, also KCCA FC Club Patron and an ardent Arsenal fan, was dressed in an autographed Jersey with signatures of all the Arsenal players of that time, gifted to him by Lauren Mayers on his visit to Kampala a decade ago.
He exuded confidence that Arsenal will win the premiership this time round and told the fans of his fond memories when he visited the new Arsenal Stadium recently, upon which he was awarded a certificate by the club.

He welcomed the fans to Kampala City and thanked them for engaging in the Community social responsibility activities including the blood donation drive.

Authority Councillor Hon. Ssendi Mosh Afrikan, the Chief Mobiliser of Arsenal Uganda Supporters club, and also one of the organizers of the festival, thanked the fans for turning up in big numbers and said such interactions foster unity and future social and economic collaborations.


The occasion was wrapped up with a launch of the clean up exercise of Ggaba market by His worship the Lord Mayor and the festival organising team.
