Rajiv is a prominent Ugandan businessman and Managing Director of the Ruparelia Group, a conglomerate with diverse interests in real estate, hospitality, finance, education, and agriculture.
Born on January 2, 1990, in Uganda, Rajiv is the youngest child and only son of Sudhir Ruparelia, a billionaire businessman, and Jyotsna Ruparelia, a devoted mother who played a significant role in shaping his upbringing.
Education
Rajiv’s educational journey began at the International School of Uganda (ISU) before moving to Kabira International School, a venture of the Ruparelia Group.
He later attended Dragon School in Oxford and Haileybury College in the UK. During his time at Haileybury, Rajiv got suspended for standing up against racist remarks towards Ugandans and blacks.

Rajiv graduated with a degree in Business Administration, majoring in Financial Management, from Regent’s University London in 2013.

Rajiv is passionate about sports, particularly motorsports, golf, and rugby. He won the Champion of the Kabalega Rally in Hoima in 2019 and is a strong advocate for sports promotion in Uganda.
