The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon Thomas Tayebwa, together with his lovely wife Mrs Anita Tayebwa, last evening graced the joyous wedding reception of Mr. Charles Bbaale Mayiga Junior and his wife, Mrs Sonia Elizabeth Nabagereka at Serena Hotel Kampala.
Mr Bbaale is the son to Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga, the Katikkiro of Buganda.
During his address, the deputy speaker put emphasis on the importance of prayer in marriage and spelt out the core purposes for marriage as “companionship, procreation, and redemption.”
“There is no marriage that can succeed without prayer,” he said, adding that “prayer builds unity and strengthens marriage.”
