Celebrated Ugandan musician Lady Mariam, popularly known for her hit song Tindatine, has revealed that she is finally ready to settle down in marriage.
In an interview with a local television station, the singer openly confessed that she is tired of living a single life and shouldering all financial responsibilities on her own.
“I am looking for a wealthy man to settle with. I am tired of paying bills alone and the stress that comes with it,” Mariam said.
The singer, who has previously kept her love life private, made it clear that she has no interest in marrying a man without financial stability. She explained that she has dated broke men before but gained nothing except frustration and stress.
Mariam further noted that her ideal partner should be someone who lives outside of Uganda, hinting that she desires a fresh start and a more comfortable lifestyle.
