I do express my special tribute to team Uganda, that has performed exceptionally well in the Tokyo Olympics 2020, led by my colleague minister in charge of sports Hon Hamson Obua, national council for sports officials, coaches, federation managers and our gallant sportsmen and women who have held our flag high.
You have truly lifted our nation high, with the medals by Pureth CHEMUTAI, Gold medal in women’s 3000m steeplechase, Joshua CHEPATAGI, Gold medal in men’s 5000m and Silver in 10000m, Jacob Kiplimo, Bronze in men’s 10000m and a host of others, Halima Nakaayi, Winnie Nanyondo, Ronald Musagala, Albert Chemutai, Esther Chebet, Kibet Mande Abdallah, Stella Chesang, Sarah Chelangat, Juliet Chekwel, Filex Chemonges, Fred Musobo, Stephen Kiprotich, Racheal Zena Chebet, Leni Shida, Oscar Chelimo, Abel Boniface Sikowo, Immaculate Chemutai, Kathleen Noble, Catherine Nanziri, Musa Shadir Bwogi, David Kavuma Ssemujju, Ambala Atuhaire.
