OYAM: The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu has this morning arrived in West Lango Diocese for his official Pastoral visit.
On arrival, he was received by Rt. Rev. Julius Ceasar Nina and Maama Janet Nina, clergy, Political leaders and cheerful Christians at Karuma Archdeaconry.
The Archbishop will visit the three districts of Oyam, Kole and Kwania where he will lead Holy Communion Services at St Peter’s Oyam Town Parish, St James Church Kole, St Peter’s Cathedral Aduku and St Thomas Church of Uganda.
Geographically, Diocese of West Lango lies in the East of Northern Uganda, currently covering four administrative Districts; Apac, Kwania, Oyam and Kole.
It borders Masindi-Kitara Diocese in the West, Luwero Diocese in the South, Diocese of Lango in the North-East and Diocese of Northern Uganda in the North.
