We Are Not Afraid of War –  President Kagame

Rwanda President Paul Kagame has said that his country is not afraid of war.

Kagame made this comment while officiating the commissioning of Cadet officers in the land of a thousand hills.

During his speech, Kagame made it clear that when there is no peace, the country works so hard to return it back.

“When there is no peace, we work hard to bring it back, and sometimes that requires fighting a war. Fighting wars requires knowledge, it requires the will to fight for your rights and for your country, and then the rest follows.” President Kagame said.

At the Commissioning Ceremony of 568 Officer Cadets at the Rwanda Military Academy – Gako. Among them 475 were trained for one year while 93 are graduating after four years of both academic and military training.

“The Rwandan army and other security organs in our country are meant to protect the country and all its citizens, and to safeguard the development we have attained, as we move forward. That is what they stand for, that’s where we start.“ President Kagame said.
