The Ministry of Tourism Wildlife and Antiquities has this afternoon handed in its contribution towards the long awaited Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon.
A cheque of whooping fifty million Uganda Shillings (UGX 50.000.000) was delivered by the State Minister Hon. Martine Mugarra to the organizing committee led by popular entrepreneur Amos Wekesa.
The prestigious #TuskerLiteRwenzoriMarathon will go down this Saturday on 2nd Sept.2023, in Kasese Western Uganda.
This will be the second edition of The Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon invites professional athletes and amateur runners to challenge themselves in the beautiful Rwenzori Mountains of Western Uganda.
Journey to Kasese to run, explore and experience one of Africa’s hidden gems.
Take in the snowcapped peaks of Uganda’s highest mountain, roam Queen Elizabeth National Park (where lions climb trees) and take a boat cruise on Lake Edward.
