Just days after the National Drug Authority (NDA) sanctioned a local herbal medicine, Covidex, for treatment of viral infections, a cross section of Ugandans have already started duplicating the original cure.
According to different people who have so far used the vaccine, a new and duplicated vaccine is said to have rocked the market.
However, basing on the photos we got for can truly differentiate between the genuine (by Prof Peter Ogwang) and fake COVIDEX being engineered by fraudsters as here below.
Not only that, the price of the 20ml bottles has spontaneously shot up from the initial UGX 3000 to UGX 110,000.
This was pushed by Ugandans who ran to secure the medicine since Tuesday following the NDA announcement.
