Ranging from her multi-million achievements overtime, Sexy Diva Sheebah Karungi continues to thrill the airwaves with a thread of hit songs. I hope it wouldn’t be weird if I said that whenever you heard people discussing about Ugandan music industry specifically female artistes the “Ice-cream” breakthrough legendary SHEEBAH KARUNGI was not left out in the discussion.
The Kunyenyeza being her first solo release in 2010 after leaving stingers with Obsessions, the “HiPipo crowned Female artist of the year in 2017” struggled 4 years and in 2014 she came up with a hit which turned out to get massive airplay and positive reviews titled “Ice Cream” not to forget other hits like; Go down low, Nkwatako, Sweet Sensations, Nakyuka, Automatic among many others. Today we are unveiling 3 scary things that you didn’t know about SHEEBAH.
- SHEEBAH WAS DISOWNED BY HER FATHER
At times it should be better to remain quiet mostly in the situations that we don’t know their background stories. Many people came their heads down on Sheebah when she didn’t attend her father’s burial the late Mr. Ahamada Kimali Musoke who took her last breath at the age of 76 and laid in Namiyagi village in Buikwe district to rest forever. However, Sheebah’s absence in her father’s burial was on promise of her father who told her not to attend his burial and disowned her because of her skimpy dress code in music videos and while performing which she described as her office dress code during a talk with quick talk.

Edith Kabazungu a mother to Team No Sleep singer Sheebah Karungi born Samali Nkangala Karungi, after Sheebah Karungi’s father death she revealed the circumstance under which she gave birth to her daughter Samalie. “I was married to a man called Lutwama and we had six children together in Kayanja Buikwe district. One day, my husband’s brother Ahmad Kimali picked interest in me and our secret affairs resulted into a child now called Sheebah” Said Sheebah’s mother.
According to murengeranews reported Edith Kabazungu saying that the late Ahamada was never a responsible parent towards Sheebah. She said that the day she conceived the singer it was an outcome of a very violent rape by Ahamad who was revenging against his young brother Lutwama who was her husband. She continued saying that Lutwama had previously been suspected of sleeping around with one of Ahamad’s wife.
- NO MAN IN UGANDA CAN IMPRESS SHEEBAH.
It is quite weird to hear about a woman who cannot be impressed by any man in the population of 44 point something…million approximately, but well, our own Sheebah Karungi is that way. The sensational dancehall artiste queen of the area Sheebah Karungi has said she does not see any man in Uganda who can impress her.
“I don’t see any man in this country who can impress me; let us give it a rest!” Sheebah answered the question “Are you single” on NBS Tv After5 in 2017 with MC Kats. Appearing on Alexi Muhangi’s comedy store, she said that men fear conning her with an excuse of “MONEY” because she has it all, “Munange, the thing is I think guys respect me so much. The reason they just can’t walk up to me and say, oh, I have money. The know I have the money so they can’t impress me with it” she said. Lets’ wait for diaspora in laws on Sheebah’s side.
