Keith Muhakanizi, P S to the Office of the Prime Minister has passed on.
This sad news was confirmed by the government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo via his twitter handle this evening.
Keith who is on record for being the longest serving Secretary to the Treasury has died from a Milan, Italy hospital where he has been receiving treatment.
On speaking about the late, Ofwono said Keith (Muhakanizi) knew the economics. Keith and Mutebile were the two civil servants in the Bank of Uganda who would hold their ground in front of the President.
Muhakanizi, who at the time of death was the permanent secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), is said to be have been flown out of the country three days ago in critical condition.
