The NRM deputy Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Namayanja Rose Nsereko is this morning expected at St. Charles Lwanga Kasasa Secondary School in Kalungu district to officially open a 3-day youth leaders ideological Retreat of over 1000 participants from greater Masaka.
The NRM Director of mobilisation, Hon Rosemary, Seninde earlier in her presentation outlined the main objectives of the event as;
- To enable youth leaders to gain clarity on wealth creation opportunities and their role in national development.
- To provide an environment to listen to and discuss challenges affecting young people in the central region.
-To promote appreciation of the natural endowments of Uganda that place it in prime position of Social economic transformation.
- To enhance values and important life skills among young people
- To develop a youth mobilisation network by identifying and profiling potential contact persons among the various categories of the youth.
