Museveni: I Will Not Put Country Under Lockdown Over Ebola

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has called upon all Ugandans to concentrate on work than worries.

This comment followed his address on the Ebola outbreak update, in the country something that has become an issue of National importance for more than a month now.

In his communication made via twitter, the Fountain of Honor reassured Ugandans that there will be no Lockdown.

He added that government is doing all it takes to contain the situation in the two districts of Mubende and Kasanda.

“Regarding the Ebola situation, first of all, there will be NO LOCKDOWN. Therefore, people should go ahead and concentrate on their work without worry. However, we should be more vigilant and observe the SOPs put in place to control the Ebola spread.” Museveni twitted.
