The State Minister of ICT and patron of Decent Africa Hon. Joyce Nabosa Sebugwawo, has commended the HiPipo Foundation for its efforts in enabling children to dream big. Speaking at the latest edition of the Decent Africa Summit, Sebugwawo emphasized the importance of promoting healthy and educated societies, particularly for children, in achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
Sebugwawo stressed that it is the collective responsibility of governments, communities, and families to create environments that encourage children to dream, empower them to act, and inspire them to create positive change.
She urged everyone to rise to the challenge of raising the next generation of African leaders, thinkers, and advocates into a brighter and more prosperous future.
The minister also highlighted Decent Africa’s commitment to supporting women at all levels of society, from grassroots initiatives that uplift young girls to leadership positions held by women. This commitment, she explained, is a cornerstone of Decent Africa’s principles of decency and integrity.
Sebugwawo’s praise for the HiPipo Foundation comes as the organization continues to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people across Africa.
The Hipipo Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Uganda focused on empowering individuals and communities through various initiatives. It primarily works in three main areas: Financial Literacy, Youth Empowerment, Community Development.
