Mr Update and Kawempe North Hon. MP Elect Hon. Sseriginya Muhammad is allegely under suicide watch by family and friends.
This is over allegations of the forged academic documents that have been challenged in court by his opponent Sulaiman Kidandala.
If all goes well the newly elected Kawempe North MP Sseriginya Muhammad (Mr update) will be among 529 dully elected leaders that will grace the 11th parliament of Uganda come May of this year.
However that dream of becoming a Honorable member of Parliament could be quashed in the courts of law after the National examining board popularly known as UNEB released a document that shows that Ssegirinya could have used some one else’s academic papers to run for the Kawempe North sit.
Perhaps after getting a request from the public to help verify if the papers that Ssegirinya used to stand for the Kawempe North sit do actually belong to him, the nation’s examining body went into the archives and dug up the info required.
After spending close to 4 days digging up the history, UNEB yesterday responded to the request of verification and in a block buster revelation it turned out that senior six document Ssegirinya used to stand for the Kawempe North MP didn’t belong to him.
According to UNEB certificate number UOO53/054 (2007) belongs to Sarah Nampiima and not Muhammad Ssegirinya like the pending Kawempe MP alleged at the application stage.
