Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago has called upon Kampala residents to turn out in force and support comedy legend Amooti Omubalanguzi’s 25th-anniversary celebration, slated for 13th December 2024 at the UMA Show Grounds in Lugogo.
Lukwago, who has already secured a table for the event, urged citizens to rally behind Amooti Omubalanguzi, citing his immense contribution to Uganda’s entertainment industry.
“Amooti Omubalanguzi has brought joy and laughter to our city for 25 years. Let’s come together to celebrate his remarkable achievement,” Lukwago said.
The Lord Mayor emphasized that Amooti’s dedication to his craft has not only entertained but also promoted Ugandan culture and talent.
“I invite all Kampala residents to join me in honoring Amooti Omubalanguzi’s legacy. Let’s fill the UMA Show Grounds and show our appreciation for his tireless efforts,” Lukwago added.
