Over the weekend, first deputy Prime Minister Rebecca Kadaga commissioned the Constituency Ambulance of Hon. Walyomu Muwanika Moses of Kagoma Constituency at Butagaya Subcounty Headquarters.
This will improve accessibility to medical services by the people in the rural areas, she said.
Earlier, she carried out constituency work by first, monitoring the ongoing construction of the Bugondha ECD Primary and Secondary School in Mbulamuti Subcounty.
She then commissioned five boreholes with an aim of easing water distribution in most rural areas in Namwendwa subcounty and distributed 30 tents to 30 groups in 22 Subcounties of Kamuli District.
Furthermore, she distributed 40 sewing machines to the youth and women in 20 communities, with the aim of training, creating employment and also generating income to the communities.
She handed over 40 sewing machines to 20 women and youth groups from different subcounties of Kamuli district.
“This will enable them to train and earn some income,” she noted.
Kadaga also handled over 30 tents with stands to various communities in kamuli district as a response to requests of the electorate.
She further responded to community requests and donated boreholes at Bulogo-mafudu, Bulondo, Bugabudyeri in Bulogo parish, and Bukampala and Butamirike in Makoka, Namwendwa Subcounty.
