Reports coming in this morning indicate that Gen Sabiti Mzee has been involved in a serious road accident while on his way to Ssembabule District.
Eyewitnesses say the accident occurred along a busy highway when the vehicle carrying the senior officer collided head-on with another car, leaving his SUV extensively damaged. Images from the scene show the wreckage of the black vehicle, its front section completely destroyed, with debris scattered across the road.
