The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Deputy Secretary General, Rt Hon Richard Todwong has re-echoed Uganda’s position on the LGBT Rights.
Speaking during the stakeholder engagement with the European delegation, Twodong stated that gay rights and homosexually is not in our DNA as Ugandans.
He added that its wise and highly reputable if foreign countries respected our cultures and norms.
A delegation of European Union ambassadors had paid a courtesy visit to the ruling party headquarters in Kyadondo, Kampala on Wednesday 9th September 2020.
The team was led by H.E Attilio Pacifici, the head of EU delegations to Uganda.
