President Museveni has Wednesday received and held a meeting with the former President of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan.
Goodluck is in the country ahead of his installation as the chancellor of Cavendish University.
Gooluck will be officially installed tomorrow, Thursday 26th August 2021, the same date set for their 10th graduation ceremony.
Goodluck, who will be serving as Cavendish University’s Chancellor for the next four years will be responsible for conferring degrees and awarding diplomas to graduands, among other roles.
He replaces H.E. Benjamin Mkapa (former President of the United Republic of Tanzania, 2nd Chancellor, deceased) and H.E. Dr Kenneth Kaunda (former President of the Republic of Zambia, 1st Chancellor, deceased).
