The Explore North tourism promotion campaign has today entered the third day.
The one week-long caravan started on Tuesday 30th May 2023 with a mega flagoff by the State Minister for Tourism Wildlife and Antiquities Hon. Martin Mugarra Bahinduka the National Museum.
This saw over 400 local tourists storm the Northern part of the country with high voltage vibes and eagerness to conquer a hundreds of unique attractions in the region.
The day two stared with a Cooperate Social Responsibility activity at Kijuu Primary school that was given a face lift and also received a variety of scholastic materials courtesy of the Ministry of Tourism and partners.
The delegation then proceeded to Fort Patiko a renowned home of the ancient slave trade and later to the breath-taking Aruu falls in Pader district.
Because the night was still young, the party was taken to Jaka Gardens in the heart of Gulu City where revelers were sandwiched with a music therapy.
Among the headlining musicians like Romeo Odong of the popular Yoleng hitsong, Eezzy, Ritah Dancehall and Uganda’s biggest and legendry start Jose Chameleon.
Today, the team is visiting the Acholi cultural site for the Acholi cultural experience, this will followed by the visit to Pakwach and a mega stopover will be made at the Gipir and Labong site a head of the nigtlife moment in Pakwach town.
On Friday, the congregation will be heading to Murchison falls National park where among the agenda is to a game drive and a guided tour and a board cruise to one of the world’s magical waterfalls.
On 03rd/06/2023, which doubles as the Uganda’s Martyrs Day celebration will see the delegation heading to Masindi town. Here there is a visit to the Polish site, Royal mile and Minister’s engagement with the local leaders.
