Kampala, Uganda – Ecobank Uganda has bid farewell to its outgoing Board Chairman, Mr. Elias Kasozi Byekwaso, at a special dinner held at the Serena Hotels in Kampala.
Mr. Kasozi, who has served on the board for eight years, including two as Chairman, has been instrumental in shaping the bank’s strategic direction and driving its growth.
During his tenure, Mr. Kasozi provided transformative leadership that has had a lasting impact on the bank. His vision and guidance have enabled Ecobank Uganda to navigate critical milestones and achieve significant success.
Speaking at the farewell dinner, Ecobank Uganda’s Managing Director, Mrs. Grace B. Muliisa, praised Mr. Kasozi’s legacy, saying: “His leadership guided us through critical milestones. His vision has set the stage for continued success.”
Mr. Kasozi, in his remarks, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve Ecobank Uganda, saying: “Serving Ecobank Uganda has been a profound honor. I am confident in its bright future.”
The farewell dinner was attended by Ecobank Uganda’s staff, board members, and other stakeholders, who came to pay tribute to Mr. Kasozi’s remarkable service and leadership.
