The scenic district of Ntungamo in Western Uganda is set to host a star-studded event as the Uganda Coffee Marathon takes center stage.
On the sidelines of the marathon, two of East Africa’s prominent leaders, President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda and President William Ruto of Kenya, are expected to grace the occasion, underscoring the region’s commitment to promoting sports, health, and economic development through coffee.
The event promises to be an exciting celebration of East African unity, with top entertainment figures gracing the stage.
Tanzanian music sensation Diamond Platinumz will join Ugandan music icons Bebe Cool and BET award winner Eddy Kenzo, Ray G among others in entertaining the runners and spectators.
The Uganda Coffee Marathon aims to promote Uganda’s coffee industry while encouraging a healthy lifestyle among East Africans.
By bringing together leaders, athletes, and music lovers from across the region, the event is expected to boost tourism and local economies in Ntungamo and beyond.
Nelson Tugume, from the Inspire Africa Coffee and lead organizing committee said that he optimistic that the event will not only showcase Uganda’s coffee but also highlight the district’s scenic beauty and warm hospitality.
