Uganda and the Embassy of Denmark have launched a new partnership aimed at promoting sustainable development and addressing climate change.
The partnership, which was announced by the Embassy of Denmark in Uganda, is part of Denmark’s strategic framework for Uganda, which focuses on supporting the country’s efforts to achieve a green, sustainable, and inclusive economic transformation.
Under the new partnership, Denmark will provide support to Uganda in areas such as climate change mitigation and adaptation, sustainable agriculture, and private sector development.

The Danish Ambassador to Uganda, Signe Winding Albjerg, emphasized the importance of the partnership, stating that it reflects Denmark’s commitment to supporting Uganda’s development goals and addressing global challenges such as climate change.
The partnership is expected to have a positive impact on the lives of Ugandans, particularly in rural areas where climate change is having a devastating impact on agriculture and livelihoods.
Denmark has been a long-standing partner of Uganda, providing support in areas such as education, health, and infrastructure development.
