Delta Cash Expands in Kampala with New Branch and ‘Kiggale’ Financing Drive

Delta Cash has launched a new financing campaign dubbed “Kiggale” alongside the opening of its new office in Naalya, positioning the initiative as a fast and flexible financing solution for Ugandans seeking quick access to capital for business, personal, and emergency needs.

The campaign, whose name is derived from the Luganda phrase meaning “close the deal,” is designed to encourage individuals and businesses not to miss opportunities because of temporary cash flow constraints.

The new branch, located at Naalya Heights in Naalya, Kampala, will serve the growing middle-income and entrepreneurial population in areas in the greater Kampala.

Through the campaign, Delta Cash is offering loans ranging from UGX 2 million to UGX 300 million, with qualifying clients able to access funds within 12 hours.

Speaking at the launch, Maria Nakachwa, Head of Finance and Accounts at Delta Cash, said the company had built its business around providing fast and straightforward financing solutions to Ugandans who need capital to seize opportunities.

“We have disbursed more than UGX 10 billion over the last five years, mostly to entrepreneurs and individuals who needed quick financing to take advantage of opportunities. That tells you who we built Delta Cash for. ‘Kiggale’ is exactly what we want our clients to experience: close the deal, and let us take care of the rest,” Nakachwa said.

She said many Ugandans lose business opportunities, delay investments, or struggle to meet urgent financial obligations because of limited access to timely financing.

Delta Cash lends against a vehicle logbook, allowing customers to access funds without surrendering their vehicle. The company places a caveat on the logbook for the duration of the loan, which is removed once the loan has been fully repaid.

Applicants are required to provide a national ID, a vehicle logbook registered in their name, and six months of bank or mobile money statements.

Loan products include personal loans, business loans, and LPO and contract financing, with favourable repayment terms. The company said it does not charge penalties for early repayment and has no hidden fees.

Beyond conventional lending, Delta Cash also offers loan buyouts, enabling customers to transfer loans from other lenders, bond clearance services for vehicles held in bond, vehicle financing of up to 60 percent of a vehicle’s value, and doorstep services, where staff complete documentation at a client’s location.

The company said the Naalya expansion reflects growing demand for quick and accessible financing among entrepreneurs, salaried professionals, and small businesses operating in Kampala’s rapidly expanding eastern corridor.

Delta Cash is a product of Delta Partners Ltd, which has operated in Uganda for the past five years, focusing on providing short-term financing solutions for individuals and businesses.

The company said the Kiggale campaign is intended to strengthen financial inclusion by giving Ugandans a practical alternative when opportunities arise before cash is immediately available.
