Singer Cinderella Sanyu, popularly known as Cindy, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Buganda Kingdom ahead of her much-anticipated concert slated for this Friday, August 29, at Lugogo.
Cindy was warmly welcomed by the Katikkiro (Prime Minister) of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, who commended her for her contribution to Uganda’s music industry and for maintaining cultural pride throughout her career.
She was accompanied by fellow musicians including Navio, Omega 256, Vyper Ranking, and others, who expressed their support for the self-styled “King Herself” ahead of the show.
The visit highlighted Cindy’s strong ties with Buganda and comes just days before she takes to the stage at Lugogo, where thousands of fans are expected to celebrate her 20-year music journey.
