The court hearing and prosecution of veterans politician Dr. Kiiza Besigye has once again Flopped.
Besigye together with The Persecution of Red Card FRONT leaders Samuel Lubega Mukaku were arrested last year for inciting violence.
The duo appeared in Buganda Road court for hearing of the case of Incitement to Violence brought against them when they were arrested during Muzzukuke Campaign in July last year.
However the government witnesses were absent with no explanation.
According to their lawyer Counsel Elias Lukwago, he decried state failure to accord a fair hearing to his clients.
He added that the government Representatives didn’t show up because they didn’t expect the persecuted political activists to appear in court.
Case was adjourned until 06th December, 2023.
