The Archbishop of Church of Uganda The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu has this afternoon arrived in the Diocese of Kinkiizi (Kanungu) for his two days official pastoral visit.

He was received by Rt Rev Dan Zoreka the Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkiizi, his wife Mama Flora Zoreka, Diocesan Secretary, Clergy, Canons and hundreds of jubilant Christians at Mitaano Bridge.
Rt Rev Patrick Tugume the caretaker Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese and the Diocesan leadership team accompanied him to Mitano bridge.

The Archbishop will stop over at Bugongi Trading Centre, Kambuga Town Council and Katojo Town Council address Christians there.
He will later proceed to to Kanungu District Headquarters and later to St. Peter’s Cathedral Nyakatare where he will be formerly received to the Diocese.
On Sunday (tomorrow), he will be the main celebrant in a Service at St. Peter’s Cathedral Nyakatare at 10am.
The Archbishop is expected to visit and commission a several Diocesan projects including Kirenzi Prayer Mountain, Ngoto island Tourism hub among others.
The Diocesan IT Department will be streaming live the entire Archbishop’s visit via Zoom.
