Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi (Nakawa-West) has been chosen as the incoming Leader of the Opposition, succeeding Hon. Mathias Mpuuga (Nyendo Mukungwe, Masaka City), who is now a Commissioner of Parliament.
The declaration was made by the National Unity Platform (NUP) General Secretary Louis David Rubongoya at the party headquarters in Makerere – Kavule.
