Former Vice president Prof. Gilbert Bukenya has finally let the cat of of the box on the alleged move to make First Son Muhoozi Kainerugaba Uganda’s next president.
Speaking in his latest interview, Bukenya categorically made it clear that he has no problem with the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) landforces Commandor.
He noted that like any other Ugandan, Muhoozi has a right to be president.
“Anyone in Uganda aged above 21 years is able to stand for the presidency. If Gen Muhoozi wants to stand for the presidency, why not?” Bukenya said.
He added that there are many children of leaders who have taken up leadership positions and performed even better than their parents.
